THE GAINWORKS AMP STORIES
Vox AC30/6 TBX
Rescued, restored, and ready to record.
When I bought this AC30, it was trashed. A previous owner had “modded” it within an inch of its life, so I took it to my good friend Bob Moore at Sound Lab / Infratronics.
We made a plan to bring it back to factory specifications, then handpicked vintage and NOS tubes for each position. The result is truly one of the best AC30s I’ve played. It records like a dream, and every session reminds me why it was worth bringing back.
